You've got the crew. We've got the game plan. This is where "we should totally do a trip" turns into a trip that actually happens — let's build it, step by step.
By the end, you'll have your whole group on the same page, your trip booked and payments tracked, and a day-by-day plan everyone can follow — all in one place, without the group-chat chaos.
This saves a backup file to your device. Don't open it directly — to pick up where you left off, come back here and click Load Saved File. Planning a different trip? Save My Progress first, then hit Start a New Trip for a blank slate.
📁 How to save & reopen a trip
Save this trip. Type your Trip Name first (it's the very first field in Trip Vision, step 1), then tap Save My Progress. A file downloads to your device — Downloads on a computer or Android phone, the Files app on an iPhone.
Start another trip. Tap Start a New Trip for a blank slate. Your saved file stays safe on your device.
Reopen a saved trip. Come back here anytime, tap Load Saved File, and pick that trip's file from your Downloads or Files.
Rename them to find them easily. On your device you can rename the file to anything you like (e.g. Hawaii 2026) — just keep the .json at the end. Don't open the file directly (it'll look like code); always reopen it here with Load Saved File.
Reach them from anywhere. Keep your trip files in an iCloud, Google Drive, or Dropbox folder, then open them from any phone or computer.

Feeling like a lot? It won't be. You'll move one small step at a time — most take a minute or two — and you never have to finish in one sitting.
Go at your own pace. Everything is grouped into 5 simple phases — Plan, Book, Prep, Travel, then Recap. Use the buttons up top to move around.
Your work saves itself. Close the tab and come back anytime. For an extra backup, use Save My Progress to download a file you can reload later.
Nothing locks. Not ready to answer something? Skip it and circle back — you can change anything at any time.
Planning more than one trip? Save this one, then hit Start a New Trip for a fresh blank slate.
Ready when you are — your first step is right below. Let's capture the vibe of your trip.

Optional: Connect a Google Form to auto-fill each traveler's name
1. Build your Google Form with a "Full legal name" question first.
2. Fill in a sample response with any name, then click the three-dot menu → Get pre-filled link → fill the name field → Get link → Copy link.
3. Paste that full copied link below — it already contains the piece we need.
